20th Anniversary Concerts - May 2008

Voices celebrated our 20th anniversary with concerts at the Kanbar Center in San Francisco on May 16th and at the Lake Merritt United Methodist Church in Oakland on May 17th.
 

29th Annual Pride Concert "Here's Where I Stand"

June 21 & 22, 2007 at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, San Francisco

The 29th Annual Pride Concert Here's Where I Stand kicked off San Francisco's Pride weekend with music covering a rainbow of expression -- from blues to Broadway, from gospel to world, from jazz and funk to classical. Hosted by the Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco, the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus and the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band, this year's concert was expanded to two nights and features Voices Lesbian Choral Ensemble as special guest artists. GLAM Youth Choir, San Francisco's first GLBT youth chorus, celebrates its first anniversary, provided preconcert entertainment.

Our concert Saturday, April 21, 2007 was held at the Lake Merritt United Methodist Church in Oakland and featured songs from our diverse repertoire of thoughtful, multi-lingual, environmental, political, and beautiful music.
